The project terms

GRO

Occupational Risk Management (Gerenciamento de Riscos Ocupacionais): the process of identifying, assessing and addressing risks at work.

PGR

Risk Management Program (Programa de Gerenciamento de Riscos): the documentary and management structure related to occupational risks. How it applies depends on the organization's conditions.

AEP

Preliminary Ergonomic Assessment (Avaliação Ergonômica Preliminar): an analysis of work situations. It must not be confused with a standalone questionnaire or an individual clinical examination.

Risk inventory

An organized record of hazards, exposed groups, assessment and measures. Like a map, it has to correspond to the conditions it aims to represent.

Action plan

The definition of measures, owners, deadlines and follow-up. It is the path of intervention, not just a list of intentions.

Assessment criteria

Documented rules for grading and interpreting risks. They need to be understandable and consistent throughout the project.

Disclosure floor

The minimum protection condition for publishing a group. It is not automatically equivalent to statistical representativeness.

Cut

The group analyzed, such as a unit or department. Its definition must make sense for the actual work and respect protection criteria.

Effectiveness follow-up

An assessment of the outcome of the measures implemented. Comparing points in time helps, but context and uncertainty must accompany the interpretation.
